Our craftsmen cut the trees and hand peel the logs. The logs are milled flat to allow the log sealant and lag screw system to laminate the logs together. The corners are left in their natural round state. During construction, each log is planed for water edges, and the corners are all hand scribed by our craftsmen. We are not a machine log home company!

Michigan Log Homes can construct your home as a close-in (or rough-in), or we can act as a general contractor and build your home from the foundation up. We can custom finish the interior for you, or you can do the finish work yourself. Either way, we strive to make sure your log home is of the finest quality.
