Michigan Log Homes

Charlie Wagner also known as Chainsaw Charlie, graduated from Bowling Green State University with an art major. He and his wife, Linda decided to carry their love of log homes over into a business, and thus, Michigan Log Homes was born. Over the last thirty years, Charlie and his crew have built over 150 homes. These homes have been as small as a mail box to his largest project - a 15,000 square foot lodge. His artistic talent sets him apart, and that is clearly seen in his unique ability to work with logs and create a one-of-a-kind home. From his handcrafted cross corners, which are left in their natural state, to the bent (or as he refers to them, Wacko) logs he incorporates into custom staircases, his homes are truly one of a kind! We invite you to come on a tour of what Chainsaw uses as his artistic media - LOGS!
